I work with clients of all ages and many issues, including trauma and behavior. My approach is client-centered, strength-based, experiential, integrative, and play-based.

I provide a safe and judgement-free environment for all individuals with all backgrounds. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy, understanding, and guidance. Together, we can uncover new perspectives, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I would love to be part of your journey!

In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my two German Shepherds.

Me encantaría ayudarte a alcanzar tus metas y encontrar tu propósito! Yo hablo Español.

Joy Elmore, MSW, LISW-CP

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-CP (LISW-CP), who received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina. I have several years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I also have clinical experience working within a community health center and within the school setting. It is rewarding to work with clients, helping them on their journeys to healing and coping with life’s struggles. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. My therapeutic approaches include client-centered, strength-based, interpersonal, psychodynamic, mindfulness, CBT, and positive psychology.

In my role as a therapist, I provide a safe, comfortable, and confidential space for clients to discuss problems, express themselves, and explore their feelings. I believe in working alongside clients, using a collaborative approach to work toward clients’ personal goals. Let’s think of it as this…you are the driver in the vehicle while on this journey, and I’m on the passenger side! I look forward to working with you!

Ashton Vaughan, MSW, LMSW

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2021 and my Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology with a minor in Child Advocacy Studies in 2018. My experience includes working with children on the autism spectrum as well as supporting individuals and families who have experienced trauma.

I believe you are the star of your story and the most valuable player on your team. My role is to walk alongside you, offering a safe and supportive space where you can share life’s struggles openly and without judgment. Together, we will work to uncover the strength within you, so you can move forward with confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.

Reaching out for help takes tremendous courage, and I want you to know I’m already proud of you for taking this important step toward healing and growth.
